Sand Lake Town Library is collecting your new and nearly new books to be given to kids and teens in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The recent hurricane that devastated the islands left many children without homes and possessions. Sand Lake Town Library has a connection with the USVI library system, through Upper Hudson Library System, that will allow us to distribute your new and gently used books directly to kids. Books of all types for kids from infants through high school are welcomed now through December 31. Donations to cover the cost of shipping the books are also sought. You can leave your donations with the staff at the library. Thanks in advance for your donations!

The SLTLibrary Board will meet Thursday, November 16 at 6:45 pm in the library’s program room to discuss current business, renovations, and long-range planning.  The public is welcome to join us.

The Sand Lake Town Library has the following New York Times Best Sellers (Nov 12, 2017) in our collection.  You can request them on-line or by phone.  Click “New Items” (under Library Links on left side of screen) to see what else we’ve added in the last 30 days.
