Join us Saturday, May 11th for a visit from the NYS Department of Health Fish Advisory. We’ll have a presentation from an educator and create a colorful fish print craft to bring home!  This program goes from 2 to 2:45 PM.  It will be followed by Casting for Beginners from 2:45 to 3:30.

After a short break for the holidays, BEST (Bringing Educators and Students Together) is back on Tuesdays 4:30 – 7:30 at the SLTLibrary.  Come by and get help from certified teachers and teacher aides with homework, practice & review, time management, and enrichment challenges.

Thai String Dolls—Wed., July 18, 2pm.  Make your own Thai string doll, a handmade  toy doll made from colored string.  Creepy, funny or cute—it’s what you make it.  (Ages 9—13)  Sign-up required.

 

Let’s Drum – Monday, July 23, 2 pm.  Learn some rhythm basics and make some  noise!  Ages 10 and up.

Traveling Pond —Thurs, Aug. 2, 2pm  Visit a traveling pond with live fish, salamanders, frogs and insects. Touch live animals and learn how they survive in a watery environment.  (Ages 6—13)  Sign up required.
