The Sand Lake Town Library will be closed Saturday, January 16 through Monday, January 18 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend and to prepare for upcoming renovations to the main room. On Saturday, January 16th volunteers will meet at the library to pack and store the main room. We do plan to remain open during the renovations, but to do so we have to make some changes, the most noticeable being that we won’t be able to use our main entrance. Instead, we will enter either by the Town Hall elevator or the door at the far end of the library (off of the sidewalk by the State Police). We will also be doing some rearranging, so be sure to ask us where to find what you are looking for.
We are working to make sure that you will still be able to use the computers, print, and copy. Services which may not be available during the renovation include faxing, though we are trying to make this available on a limited basis.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us get this far and to those who continue to provide assistance with this project. We can’t wait to get started! Please check our website, Facebook page, and the Advertiser for updates.
