Join us this Saturday, February 2nd!  We will also be kicking off SLTL’s participation in The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program!  Stop in between 11 AM and 4 PM.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an international initiative created to help raise community awareness about the importance of the library in the lives of children as well as a way to promote library programs and services to children and families.

Drop in on Tuesday, November 20th between 4:00 and 7:00 to make a paperback book turkey.  Our popular book hedgies are back and turning into turkeys for the season!

Drop in for some simple fall- and Halloween-themed crafts between 4 and 6pm.

Due to so many generous donations, we will be giving away books on Oct 27 – 28.  Stock up for the coming winter!  Drop-in crafts for the kids as well.

Join us Wednesday, October 10th at 6:00 pm to learn how to upcycle old books!  Books break and get damaged, but are hard to recycle.  So let’s turn them into new treasures: a hollow book storage box, a book spine book mark or a desk caddy.  This program is for teens and adults.  Please call the library at 518-674-5050 to register.
