Fish Prints Art Activity

Join us Saturday, May 11th for a visit from the NYS Department of Health Fish Advisory. We’ll have a presentation from an educator and create a colorful fish print craft to bring home!  This program goes from 2 to 2:45 PM.  It will be followed by Casting for Beginners from 2:45 to 3:30.

Storytime:  Thursdays at 11:15am thru Aug. 16th w/ Miss MaryMargaret.  Stories & a craft for Pre-school-Kindergarten.

Reading With Max—Tuesdays at 11am.  Young Max would like to read to our pre-readers.   Call for availability.

 Swirl ‘n Twirl Paper Curls—Wed, June 27, 6:30pm.   Curl strips of paper to create images of just about anything.   (All ages)

 

Make it with Duct Tape—Thurs., July 5, 2 pm  Make a wallet or flip flops from duct tape!  What else can you create?   (Ages 9—13)   Sign up required.

 

Mysterious Bats—Thurs., July 12, 2pm  Learn about these mysterious creatures of the night through songs, sounds exhibits and a craft.  (Ages 6 –12) Sign-up required.

 

Thai String Dolls—Wed., July 18, 2pm.  Make your own Thai string doll, a handmade  toy doll made from colored string.  Creepy, funny or cute—it’s what you make it.  (Ages 9—13)  Sign-up required.

 

Let’s Drum – Monday, July 23, 2 pm.  Learn some rhythm basics and make some  noise!  Ages 10 and up.

 

Movie: Puss in Boots—Wed., July 25, 6:30pm  Rated PG—popcorn & beverages provided

 

Cake Pops—Thurs., July 26, 2pm   Decorate cake pops—a small cupcake on a stick.  Of course the best part is eating them!  (Ages 6 & up)  Sign-up required.

 

Traveling Pond —Thurs, Aug. 2, 2pm  Visit a traveling pond with live fish, salamanders, frogs and insects. Touch live animals and learn how they survive in a watery environment.  (Ages 6—13)  Sign up required.

 

Readers’ Party & Show—Thurs, Aug, 9, 7:00pm

Magic awaits with Magicman!  Summer reading awards will be handed out before the show.  Come early (6pm) for pizza.
