Thank you to everyone who participated on June 26 to kick off our Summer Reading Program!

From the Sand Lake Bicentennial Committee’s Doll Parade to celebrating the Grand Re-opening of the Children’s Room to Victor the Clown’s mime/puppet performance and amazing balloon creations, it was a full, fun day. (Click here to see pictures.)

Special thanks to Nancy Davis of the 2012 Bicentennial Committee, the Sand Lake Kiwanis, Sand Lake Ambulance, NYS Troopers, Cooperative Extension, Sand Lake Historical Society, Judy Rowe & Mary French of the Town Historian’s Office, Mr. Burt Rounds, and all our teen and adult volunteers who made the day such a success.

Starting in June the Library will be going to Summer Hours; we will be closed on Sundays from June through September.
