Sand Lake Town Library will be closed on Saturday, May 25th through Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day weekend.  The Library will re-open on Tuesday, May 28th at 11 AM. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Join us this Saturday, February 2nd!  We will also be kicking off SLTL’s participation in The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program!  Stop in between 11 AM and 4 PM.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an international initiative created to help raise community awareness about the importance of the library in the lives of children as well as a way to promote library programs and services to children and families.

Drop in on Tuesday, November 20th between 4:00 and 7:00 to make a paperback book turkey.  Our popular book hedgies are back and turning into turkeys for the season!

Drop in for some simple fall- and Halloween-themed crafts between 4 and 6pm.

Due to so many generous donations, we will be giving away books on Oct 27 – 28.  Stock up for the coming winter!  Drop-in crafts for the kids as well.

Children ages 8 and up can join us Tuesday, July 24 at 1:00 pm to learn how to make a steel drum or other musical instruments.  Please call the library at 518-674-5050 to register so we can make sure to have enough materials.

Join us Thursday, July 12th at 11:30 AM for Storytime with SouthPaw, the Tri-City ValleyCats mascot.  SouthPaw and some of his friends from the Tri-City ValleyCats will be here to visit and read sporty stories.  All ages welcome!

NOTE–this Storytime will replace our weekly Storytime with Miss MaryMargaret.  Storytime will return on July 19th.
